After seeing Rebecca from Rebecca likes nails' post for her water marbling nail challenge, I wanted to do it too! Anyways I did these on fake nails, since I just wanted to test the holo out.
I used ChG Passion & City Siren and Colour Club's Worth the Risque for these. I really like the outcome! Can't wait to do these babies on my nails :)
This is with no flash, holo goodness in the next pic!
*note* city siren is actually more colour accurate in this pic than the next
And here they are!! Rebecca is right, for some reason they are a lot more holo-y than they are painted on their own :S
HOLO GORGEOUS!
For these, I've used ChG Something Sweet & Flyin' High and Colour Club's Fashion Addict
No flash, reminds me of cotton candy mmmm
Flash, the holo sparkle <3
Anyways enough about me rambling on about the holo goodness of these! I must do these on my nails sometime! Maybe mix the colours up a bit too, cause skittles never hurt anybody :)
TOMORROW I WILL BE DOING A SPECIAL POST! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!! IT'S GONNA BE A FUN ONE, KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!
Thanks for reading!

ReplyDeleteThis is the best water marble I've ever seen! Will you share your tips and technique? That holo looks gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, when I have a bit more time i'll make a tutorial on the marbling, though I did learn some stuff from Colette over at My Simple Little Pleasures!

ReplyDeleteand i have NO IDEA why the holo gets more holo lol but i like it!!!
WOW! I thought the first 3 photos were different color nail appliques in just different colors. They look SO different in those light settings. Both dsigns are awesome! I love the turquoise one. :)
