Daft Punk 'One More Time' music video inspired design

I was gonna do a post yesterday, but as soon as I got home from intern (7.30pm) I literally knocked out till like 1am and then I was too lazy to do something haha I do have something awesome to show today though :)

Oh god this was hard. A lot harder than the detailing on the card nails I did! I felt motivated to do a music video inspired nail art design and I thought of this video! 'One More Time' is one of my favourite old school songs and when I went to watch the music video, it had lots of colours and anime characters. I did these on fake nails, cause I thought it'd be nice to have them as a keepsake and from the effort it took, I damn well better keep them! Would be totally wasteful to just 'wipe' them off. I tried and this was the best I could come up with.

Each nail design came from a particular scene in the music video clip. Most of them were from the beginning haha cause the rest of the video had a lot of scenes with just the characters themselves and I didn't think that was interesting as the early scenes. I'll have a breakdown of it below :)

I really liked how this one turned out! I thought it would come out really weird and not blended in well enough, but I surprised myself!

This one was pretty hard... It was difficult to get that smokey look at the bottom, so I randomly dabbed black on it haha now it looks like a blob of stuff, but oh wells, I do like the top half though :)

Pink neon electric guitar! This one wasn't too hard but now that the image is up super close, the guitar strings are VERY jagged. From a tiny size they look absolutely fine - its my camera! picks up all the damn details I don't want it to show haha

Don't get me started on this one! This was difficult cause it was near impossible to get the glowy look on a black surface! I skipped the glow and just filled the colours in haha

What do you think? They're not as vibrant as the screenshots but I think I did a decent job haha took a longgggggg time as well! Let me know your thoughts!
