First (bad) Tutorial

So I found a picture of a girl with strawberry nails and thought heyyy, this looks fun to do. I totally forgot that my friend had suggested this to me ages ago! Excuse the bad tutorial, I was filming it with the camera between my knees! Have to figure out a solution for that... maybe I should just take individual images :S anyways I just took screen shots. The camera between my knees made it awkward to actually draw haha

What you will Need



- Red nail polish
- Green and white acrylic paint (or nail polish if you don't have these)
- A dotting tool (you can also use a toothpick)
- A small, fine brush (you could use a toothpick instead of this, I have tried!)

Steps



Tadaa, result is the image at the beginning of the post. It's very simple and fun look to create! If you are confused with any step, leave a comment :)

These are more recently done, probably either a few weeks ago or a couple months ago, one of those!I love these, the colours are so nice. So devo that the coral pinkish colour is running out and i don't know where to buy it :(

I dug through my nail box and found these. They were probably the first few things that I drew.. for fun... when I had plenty of time to spare. Too busy these days to do bits and pieces like this :(

But... what if I can't draw?

I'm sure plenty of you out there fall under this category! When I started out, I couldn't draw either, I relied on those fancy smanchy stickers and stamps! For those who aren't confident with drawing ability, you can still create awesome nails with these. Heck, when I first drew on my nails, I was using a toothpick! [and you still can ;)] Maybe some of this stuff can help you out :D

Supplies

My large (and yet to be bigger) collection of nail stuff. I have so much nail polish I don't even use, but it sits there anyway haha As the hoarder I am, I find it hard to throw stuff away (unless it's become so gross)I don't purchase a lot of expensive nail polishes, just colours I like because I change my nails very often so the quality of the polish doesn't bother me. All my brushes and embellishments - eBay! Cheapest place to buy all those little nic nacs :)

The Excitement!

I love doing my nails, so I'm really excited to start posting things up :) It's one of those times of the years though, where uni becomes absolutely crazyyy, so hopefully looking to make some image tutorials soon! Can't wait :)

I might just post some pics up, so there's something to look at in the meantime hehe
