Gonna be a quick post today, getting kinda late and I should be sleeping! Today I have a simple mani, I think it will fit very well for a wedding theme, but the theme came across unintentionally hehe
Right hand
Left hand
Comparison of my right and left hand respectively. I like my left hand way better! Funny that I'm right handed too. Didn't realise I could fit 3 roses till I drew my left hand and now im so bummed that my right hand looks better haha
HOW WEIRD IS IT THAT MY LEFT HAND IS DRAWING BETTER THAN MY RIGHT?! Have any of you had times where your less dominant hand came out better than the dominant? Share your thoughts! Think it's time for bed. like. right now! Thanks for reading :)

Essie Borrowed & Blue and Sand Tropez dots & stripes
Hmm a bit uninspired today and decided to do something brown and blue cause I like those 2 colours together. I decided on stripes and dots for something simple hehe lazy me.
I didn't take any inspiration from this, though the end result strangely reminds me of something like wallpaper.
I wasn't quite happy about the technicality of these! I would've used my white striper but I broke the neck of the bottle and well, I don't exactly have an equivalent of Sand Tropez :( I used Colour Club Paris White and Sand Tropez for the lines, but both formulas are not highly pigmented, resulting in me retracing lines to get the opacity up - my lines weren't as straight as they could be, which bummed me out! I'm a perfectionist, seriously if a line is a bit out of place, it bothers me! haha
Anyways enough of me being a crazy OCD nail art perfectionist haha I later realised that this mani reminds me of some patterned A4 display folders that I have - not the same but similar line work hehe
What do you think? I'd love to hear from you :)

Ahoy hoy, nautical nails
Here is the nautical mani that I wanted to do :) I did them and my bf and his dad said you did 'french' nails today and I said noooooo they're nautical! *shows the nail with the anchor) and they laughed and continued to say it was the french flag. Perhaps I shall use blue only haha
This is where I grabbed the design from
And this is what I did, I decided to leave out the rhinestones, didn't want it to be overwhelming
I generally don't have a lot of luck with tape mani's, since my nail bed is quite curvy, such a pain! Such a cute golden anchor though hehe
Undecided for what to do next for my next mani, maybe i'll upload some tips about water marbling soon! Thanks for reading!

Robin Moses inspired Christian Louboutin mani!
When I saw Robin Moses' tutorial on the Christian Louboutin mani with the red undernail, I really wanted to try it out! Though I had to wait till my nails were long enough to paint the red underside on :) Before I trim my nails, I decided to do the mani, but I did a different design, still exhibiting the Louboutin red sole.
This is Robin Moses' design
This is the image i'll be taking my inspiration from
And here they are!
Red underside!
The top coat I applied morphed the half moon >.> So it does look very jagged and out of shape. Shame. The accent fingers are both the studs on the shoe and the logo. The half moon represents peep toes! hehe
What do you think? Thanks for reading!
PS. The winner for My guess the colour competition is Skylar91 from Lovin Nailz! Congratulations!
Till next time,

China Glaze Ghoulish Glow
It was glow in the dark, what could I say? The novelty of this idea was reason enough for me to buy it haha I didn't get many pics with this, cause damn, I had to turn the light on every time and change my camera into manual focus to get a pic of this in the dark! And shutter speed was long too, but nevermind that, got a decent pic to show the GLOWWWWW :)
Here's the bottle
And here's the glow! Honestly, it does not glow THAT bright, just the camera picking up all the light, but it does glow haha
Just a reminder that the guess the polish competition will be open till Thursday 29th September 12am eastern standard time in Australia! Remember to 'follow' my blog for your entries to count! I will be checking :) I'm putting another clue here actually, because I was being too hard on you all! If you read this post then you will get your clue! Here it is:
'I am only using polishes that I own. Something on my blog will help you there :)'
On a side note, I am really itching to do this nautical mani I saw on google - might do it for tomorrow's post! Can't wait :)

China Glaze Candle french mani with rhinestone accent
YES, exam over today and I got plenty of time to do my nails. I've been wanting to do a gradient french with glitter and ChG Candle, which is a jelly/murky baby pink with iridescent glitter pieces in it. It does get a bit thick after about 3 coats, but I only used one in this and had ChG Moonlight as a base :)
Glitter is OPI Crown Me Already and rhinestone accent was straight from an image. It's a japanese type of rhinestone accent I think, the image I got it from was a lot of japanese styled mani's
This is the original image
Very small pic, but the one circled in red was the one I went for. Not EVERYTHING was copied, since i couldn't be bothered adding extra bullion beads around the large rhinestone hehe I was more concerned with how much space I had on my nail to do it
Here's a closer look
My bullion beads are gross, some were murky and I cbb sifting through for good ones. I should've done this on a single colour base, so it wouldn't conflict to much, but I already stuck them on haha no going back. What do you think?
Remember to take a stab at the colour guessing in the previous post! Just an update, that one person was VERY close. I would suggest using something I own to help you figure it out :) That's it for tonight, thanks for reading!

Special Post: The chance to win a mystery bottle of polish!
Hi everyone! Today I'm doing a special post. Yesterday as I was water marbling, i tried out a few glitter ones (i know they wont work, but I did them anyway) and came up with something that I thought would be fun!
I'm not sure how well everyone's ability to recognise nail polishes are, so I think you know where I'm getting at! If someone literally guesses it straight away, then ... maybe i'll have another one with different polishes haha! Let's just hope it's not solved in a minute!
So deal is, I've marbled 3 colours and they're glitters and a bit thin on the nails. For your chance to win a mystery bottle of polish (I will shop around for something!), all you need to do is guess the 3 colours correctly. I will open this for 1 week or until someone guesses all 3 correctly - whichever comes first. In the case that no-one is able to guess all 3 before the week ends, the first person on the comment list to have guessed the most correct polishes will win. Open internationally, yay!
My only condition is that you are a GFC! :) Nice and easy!
The only clue I will give is, 2 of the polishes are the same brand, the other being a different one. Here are the pics
I hope no-one guesses this straight away.. HAHA I will try my best to monitor this as closely as I can to see if anyone has guessed correctly and I can jump in and comment :)
GOODLUCK!

China Glaze & Colour Club Water Marble Demo!
After seeing Rebecca from Rebecca likes nails' post for her water marbling nail challenge, I wanted to do it too! Anyways I did these on fake nails, since I just wanted to test the holo out.
I used ChG Passion & City Siren and Colour Club's Worth the Risque for these. I really like the outcome! Can't wait to do these babies on my nails :)
This is with no flash, holo goodness in the next pic!
*note* city siren is actually more colour accurate in this pic than the next
And here they are!! Rebecca is right, for some reason they are a lot more holo-y than they are painted on their own :S
HOLO GORGEOUS!
For these, I've used ChG Something Sweet & Flyin' High and Colour Club's Fashion Addict
No flash, reminds me of cotton candy mmmm
Flash, the holo sparkle <3 Anyways enough about me rambling on about the holo goodness of these! I must do these on my nails sometime! Maybe mix the colours up a bit too, cause skittles never hurt anybody :) TOMORROW I WILL BE DOING A SPECIAL POST! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!! IT'S GONNA BE A FUN ONE, KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!
Thanks for reading!

I need your opinion!
I decided I wanted to recreate the denim look on nails WITHOUT using those enamel strips, so I did some thinking about how I can go about it. I did a test run on a fake nail first since I only painted my nails this morning haha
I've got a few pictures to show. Excuse the blurriness, I tried taking it without flash!
I did a back pocket design, inspired by Bettina Liano Jeans. They have an easy back pocket which is why HAHA I also used ChG Millennium for the rivets at the back teehee :D I gave it some texture as well to resemble denim material, it didn't come out as I expected but it's okay.
Okay so there are my pics, and what is it I need an opinion on, you're wondering? Well my question is... YAY OR NAY FOR A FULL MANI ON MY NAILS? Leave a comment!

China Glaze Grape Pop Drip Mani
So I have an exam on Thursday that I have to study for and I can't do anything too time consuming. Guess that has been the mentality lately hasn't it? haha Even though I've been strapped for time a lot of the time, I can't bear to go bare (polished that is). I feel like I always need to have nail art on it, or something and not just the plain colour. I think I'm crazy.
Everyone refers to me as the awesome nails girl and every time my friends see me they always ask 'let me see your nails.' If they don't see nail art they'll be like, oh you didn't do anything on them today, so I'm quite used to always having something on, even if its simple! And today it is simple :)
This is my first drip mani, I've been meaning to try it for some time and today was perfect for it! I wasn't sure how anyone else does it, but the way I did it works for me and i'm pretty sure a lot of you out there would not be bothered to do it my way! LOL
Drip drip drip! I thought I was genius for using these 2 colours together, but when I google imaged drip nails, ONE image had used this colour combo. Darn.
*UPDATE* I just did these on my right hand :D
Holding my bowl of food :)
Here's some random stuff I came across on someone's 'weheartit' archive when looking for drip mani's
I LOVEEEE this! So cute and clever
This creeped me out! Haha that's just absolutely crazy!
I think it's time to get into study mode, I will do my right hand later haha :) Thanks for reading!

China Glaze OMG
I picked up a bottle of China Glaze's OMG today, after hearing about it being a popular one, I snagged 2 up incase I wanted to use it for something else! I took some pics of it, at night of course, cause i'm a night owl who never paints my nails during the day (barely).
Anyways, not the greatest pics, but you get what I mean! I'm pretty sure nearly everyone has seen what this looks like haha and if you haven't, then I tried... :D
Artificial light
Flash (under the table haha)
Flash (not under the table!)
I used flash cause it brought out the holo better, no sunlight till tomorrow and I ain't waiting that long!
I'm going to be taking the 31 Day Nail Challenge in the near future!!! Which means if you want to see more nail art, you have to keep reading! Pretty please :)
I'm gonna figure out what to do next on my nails, so thanks for reading!

China Glaze Something Sweet Aztec Art
I was really stuck on what to pant my nails, so I decided it was time to try the aztec/tribal design! I've always wanted to try it and this is my first time :)
I used ChG's For Audrey & Lemon fizz for the stripes and Colour Club's Paris white. I really like it! Should revisit more aztec/tribal designs cause they add some pizazz to the nails!
*UPDATE* (MORE PICS!)
I did these earlier today on my left hand! Decided to put them together with this post as well.
Here's a pic of both hands :)
Anyway, I think it's time for bed, getting kinda late, just wanted to post this up haha. Let me know what you think in the comment section! Thanks for reading :)

FIRST ever video!
I made a dodgy-ish video on how to fill in the mssing konad on your nails hahahahahahahahahha epic fail! Anyways, please check out my TUTORIAL tab to see the video! Hope it's helpful or at least gives you a bit of extra knowledge :)
I have something random to show!
I bought a packet of 20,000 rhinestones a while ago and needed some kind of storage for it, so went on eBay to find a container and this rectangular one seemed sufficient enough to fit them so I bought that (with coloured rhinestones inside), emptied the contents out into a small wheel container and filled them. and OMG seriously still have so much left. I've filled it to the top for each compartment and I still have quite a lot left! That was my random comment haha
Oh wells, enjoy the video! Hopefully it's okay haha

Leopard French
Short post today guys, I've been uninspired this week to do anything on my nails :( Guess it's all the tiredness. I just have a leopard french today, embellished with rhinestones.
Something toned done for a while is best I reckon, haha kinda tired that I don't have the energy to do anything crazy, maybe in a weeks time or so!
Yay or nay? Let me know your thoughts!

OPI Miss Universe Collection
My Miss Universe collection arrived in the mail today along with a lot of other nail polishes! Excuse the bad pics, but I took these under artificial light at night cause I'm barely ever free during the day to do it - oh and I couldn't wait to try them out!
I tried to capture the polish as best as I could and didn't use flash since it blew the colour way out of proportion - or something like that.
When the bottle came in the mail, all the shimmer particles settled at the bottom! Took me a while to shake it all out haha
Now onto the swatches!
This is 'Congeniality Is My Middle Name' and honestly, when I saw this swatched on other blogs, I didn't want the colour at all since it had that purple shimmer, but it came with the set, so what they hey. When I brushed it on, I LOVED IT. The colour was a rich wine-like colour with fuschia shimmer and on closer inspection, small gold flecks. It is opaque on one coat even, but has much more depth when you use 2.
Here's a (blurry) close up of the shimmer particles
This is 'It's My Year' and it's a purple jelly base packed with gold micro shimmer/glitter. It has been deemd to be the same as Rally Pretty Pink, but seriously, it's only bottle wise. When painted on, they look nothing alike! The colour is sheer, but buildable and can be opaque on 2 coats (depending on thickness of each coat). In the photo, I've used 2 coats.
I gave it a matte top coat and I love how it looks!
This is Crown Me Already, jam packed silver glitter polish in 4 sizes - there's micro silver glitter, small round glitter, medium hex glitter and large hex glitter. It is quite a dense glitter polish, becoming opaque in 2 coats. For maximum coverage, I would say use 3 coats.
I was excited and nervous to try 'Swimsuit... Nailed It!'. Nervous? Well I read on other blogs that it stains and I don't want alien blue stained nails! I left this till very last, and decided to put a base coat on (I didn't with the others), paint it, snap it quickly and remove it. Unfortunately it did stain a little (And I didnt even have it on for 5 mins!), but I kept wiping away with polish remover and it's fine now! SNI is an electric blue which exhibits a foil-like quality. It is quite opaque within 1 coat, so a 2nd isn't quite necessary. As much as I say blues and purples look tacky on my hand, I must say this looked quite good :)
I have other polishes to put up as well, but couldn't really be bothered right now, kinda tired from staying up last night to do my assignment. I will however, see all you lovely readers soon! Thanks for reading!
