Hi lovelies, I'm sorry for my lack of posting, but I got capped for the past 3 days and my net was literally non-responsive - no page was loading and I mean NONE! Now that I'm uncapped, I have the highly requested tutorial for you all!
Remember that smoky dry marble mani I did a short while ago? I have the tutorial for you today :) A bit of a crap job I'd say, it works best when the nail is level, but I had to do it slanted (due to position of my camera) so you can see what I was doing.
Nevertheless, enjoy! I will be back later today with the colour blocking tutorial which I will edit very soon :)

Thank you so much for posting this! I can't wait to try it out :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this tutorial! :)
ReplyDeleteloving the tutorial !!! Ill give it a shot and let you know how it went !
ReplyDeleteLove this tutorial, it was exactly what I needed!
ReplyDeleteYaaay, thanks! I was waiting for this tutorial;) Now I have to do it on my nails=D
ReplyDeletethank you so much for making a tutorial! I had been dying to try that smoky effect, but I was to afraid to mess things up, your vid clarified a lot of the process to me, thanks again! :)
ReplyDeleteI tried this yesterday. I ended up using an actual needle, but I just didn't like the way it turned out. My smoke lines seemed to thick no matter what I tried. This is something that might take me a few try's, so I'm going to keep trying, because I love this look. Thanks for the tutorial :).
ReplyDeleteI don't like using the needle cause it drags too little out! Try using a very fine dotting tool and dragging on the SURFACE rather than down to the nail if that made sense :) Goodluck, hope it turns out well!
DeleteThat is a very helpful tip. Thanks so much :). I'm trying a different look today, but I'll try this one again, and see how it turns out. Thanks again, and keep up the fantastic nails/tutorials.
Deletethanks for the tutorial, i'll try this :-D
ReplyDeleteI love this so much I think I will cry. (In a good way!)
