I decided to start off with something simple and while doing so, I really wanted to do something with a heart shape in it first without using the whole heart. I initially thought a french, but then decided on doing something a little less obvious and went for the heart ruffian instead! I'm not sure if it has been done before or not, I honestly have not checked, but it was one of the things that came to mind and would be great for any beginners of nail art to try out :)
I did these nails with just the brushes of the nail polish bottle, so anyone can do this! I may make a tutorial on it, but let me know if I should?
Of course, I used the traditional V day colours for this mani. All the colours used were from OPI - the red is Big Apple Red, the white is Alpine Snow and the pink is Pink Friday. I will however, be trying to find some unconventional ideas for the later nail looks.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really cute and fun idea! I've been out of the nail blog loop for awhile, but I don't recall seeing anything quite like this before myself. I sort of think we nail bloggers are all part of a weird creative hive mind. I just had the raddest idea for an indie nail polish, and went online to see if I could find if it had already been done and it sure has! Many awesome versions! This community is super creative, friendly and so much fun to be a part of.
